Current workflow

One workspace for readers and translators.

Bring source material you are permitted to use, create a project, add chapters, maintain terminology, translate, review, and use supported export tools from one account.

1

Create a project

Keep the title, synopsis, source information and chapters together instead of rebuilding context for every session.

2

Translate & organize

Use the chapter workspace and project glossary while keeping progress attached to the novel.

3

Review your work

Check translations and terminology before using the available export tools for your own publishing workflow.

What TransNovela is

Translation technology—not a novel publishing platform.

TransNovela provides AI-powered translation tools for readers and translators. It does not claim ownership of novels or other source material submitted or accessed by users, and it does not itself grant rights to third-party works.

For readers who do not want to wait.

If a novel you want to read does not have a translation available, you can use your personal TransNovela workspace to create an AI-assisted translation from source material you are permitted to use.

For translators who want a better workflow.

Keep projects, chapters, terminology, translation, review, and supported exports organized in one place.

Available workspace areas include:
  • Translation projects and chapter management
  • Project glossary and terminology tools
  • Chapter translation and review workflow
  • TOC/source import tools for supported sources
  • Bulk translation features currently being developed and tested
  • TXT/EPUB export tools where supported

Availability, limits and AI models may change while the service is under active development.

FAQ

Before you start

What is TransNovela?

TransNovela is a browser-based workspace for translating long-form fiction with project memory, glossary management, chapter queues, review tools, and export support.

Do I need to install a mobile app?

No. The website is being designed to work responsively on phones and tablets so you can use TransNovela directly in your mobile browser.

Can I translate an entire novel?

The product is specifically designed around long-form projects and bulk chapter workflows rather than isolated one-off translations.

How does the glossary work?

The glossary stores recurring translation-critical items such as character names, aliases, titles, organizations, places, and terminology so future chapters can stay consistent.

What happens when a chapter fails?

A failed chapter should not stop the batch. The failure is recorded with its reason, later chapters continue, and you can retry only the failed chapter instead of restarting everything.

Can I import my own glossary?

Glossary import and export are part of the planned workflow so translators can bring established terminology into a project and avoid recreating it manually.

Is my novel private?

Private projects are part of the core architecture. Public or shared novel options can be introduced separately later rather than exposing translator projects by default.
